Anna's Fiancé is a minor character in the Tekken games. He is unnamed in the series and nothing is known of his appearance, but he was a G Corporation elite soldier and an executive in the Italian Mafia. He was engaged to Anna Williams and assassinated by Nina Williams.
Biography[]
Anna Williams and her fiancé both worked for Kazuya Mishima's G Corporation during the events of Tekken 6. Anna's fiancé was an elite soldier at the time that Anna was working as Kazuya's bodyguard. They met when Anna was injured, with the soldier caring for her at this time. Anna was attracted to his kindness and the two gradually fell in love.[1] They decided get married and to retire from G Corporation and the war. This marked a major turning point in Anna's life, as, up until then, she had always positioned herself opposite her sister, Nina Williams, in a decades' old rivalry with her.
Anna's fiancé hailed originally from Italy and the two moved there to get married at some point during the events of Tekken 7, likely with Kazuya's blessing.[2] Anna's fiancé had strong ties to the Italian Mafia, holding a major executive position in the organization. He became the target of assassin-for-hire Nina Williams, who tracked him down and assassinated him on his wedding day. Nina stole Anna's wedding dress for the purpose.
Anna's fiancé's death has embittered her rivalry with Nina with a new level of hatred.
Story[]
After the events of the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6, Anna’s heart grew tired of endless fighting. Following her retirement, she met and fell in love with an elite soldier from the G Corporation. Unbeknownst to Anna, this man also happened to be a major mafia executive, and on the day of their wedding in Italy, tragedy occurred. Whilst getting ready for the big day, she noticed that her wedding dress was missing, after which the sound of gun shots suddenly filled the main hall. Anna rushed to the noise, arriving to find her fiancé dead and her sister wearing her wedding dress and fleeing the scene. Anna, fueled by rage, decided to return to the fight once more.[3]

Trivia[]
- Whilst he is only mentioned in Tekken 7, the timing of his and Anna's retirement means that Anna's fiancé worked for G Corporation during Tekken 6. This means he was at war with Jin Kazama's Mishima Zaibatsu, and a comrade of Bruce Irvin who was captain of G Corp's armed forces and trained all new recruits.
- Anna and her fiancé likely retired from G Corporation with CEO Kazuya Mishima's blessing. Anna and Kazuya appear to be on amiable terms throughout the Tekken series, and G Corporation were winning the war at the time that Anna retired from Kazuya's employment. It is unlikely that Anna and her fiancé could have left G Corporation without Kazuya's permission due to his controlling personality.
- It is possible that The Syndicate ordered the death of Anna's fiancé, as Nina immediately went back to taking assassination contracts after leaving the Zaibatsu, and was previously a long term agent of the Syndicate.
- Anna's fight with Nina, along with Nina's (likely canonical) ending with Steve Fox both take place in Duomo di Sirio. It is possible that this was meant to be the location of Anna and her fiancé's wedding.
- Whilst it is stated that Anna and her fiancé were in love, it is also mentioned that her fiancé concealed his ties to the Mafia from her.
- The death of her fiancé is likely why Anna is dressed in a long, black, mourning dress in Tekken 7.
