Aranami Stable is a stage in Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign mode. The stage is set in a neighborhood where many sumo wrestlers train. At the end of the stage is a chanko restaurant - a cuisine favored by sumo wrestlers as part of their weight gain diet.
Ganryu is the proprietor of the restaurant and the boss of this level.
Clearing this stage and defeating Ganryu will unlock him in Scenario Campaign and Arena mode. Many sumo wrestlers and oni masked ninjas are fought here.
Stage description: Stables in which many sumos meet to train. In recent times, we have seen a suspicious sumo come in and out of the stables.
"I met a Japanese wrestler for the first time today. He claimed he had reached the level of grand champion, but I found no matching data during my search. Fabrications are futile".
Aranami (荒 波) means "big wave", "raging sea" in Japanese.
At this level, Ganryu claims that he has reached the level of yokozuna mastery of sumo. This is a fabrication however, as alluded to by Alisa in her journal. Ganryu only ever reached the rank of ōzeki.
It is possible to beat this stage early by defeating Ganryu before reaching the final portion of the level.
