Not to be confused with King II's Arm Breaker
Arm Break, called Reverse Standing Side Clutch (立逆脇固/Tachi Gyaku Wakigatame) in Japan, is a combo throw used by Nina and Anna Williams from the first game onwards, although it became unlisted for Nina in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Tekken 7. When performed by Anna from Tekken Tag Tournament onwards, it is called the Reverse Arm Lock.
It is part of the Backhand Slap Combo, and follows from Backhand Slap. When escaped, the opponent punches Nina or Anna, dealing 5 damage.
From Tekken 3 onwards, Nina can also perform Arm Break after Betrayer. In Tekken 3 only, Anna could reverse Arm Break's escape with d/b+1+4, allowing her to perform the same throw reversal later given to Chaos Judgement.
With Nina, it can be followed up with the Falling Arm Break or Double Arm Break. With Anna, it can be followed up with the Falling Arm Break, Falcon Wing Squeeze or the Double Arm Lock Throw.
In Tekken Tag Tournament 2, the Arm Break will be used as part of Nina and Anna's special Tag Throw and will be performed by the character that is being tagged in.
