Battering Ram (破砕衝 Hasaishō?, lit. "Cracking Pierce") is a non-damaging move used by Heihachi since Tekken 7 to replace Tatarigoroshi.
In Tekken 8 the move is exclusively done in Heat and was given a new command, replacing Angekisai. It is renamed Thunderous Battering Ram.
Description[]
Heihachi rears his fist upward and punches the ground, unleashing a shockwave that causes the opponent to stumble. If done on a grounded opponent, it launches them into the air.
The Tekken 8 version is executed noticeably faster. The move is now damaging and gives a guaranteed knockdown on connect but it is blockable. It can cause chip damage to a blocking foe and has a reversal break effect (the move will negate Power Crush armor). It is incorporated as the second hit of the Rending Battering Ram string.
Trivia[]
- When this attack is used by Awakened Heihachi in The Mishima Saga or as an unplayable boss in Treasure Battle, the attack will instead launch the opponent before Heihachi follows up with an Omen Thunder God Fist.
