Bear Hug (ベアハッグ Bea Haggu?) is a throw used by Kuma I since the first Tekken and Kuma II, Panda, Ogre, and True Ogre since Tekken 3.
In the arcade version of Tekken, Kuma did not have this move. Instead, he shared the Lift Up throw with Jack. Interestingly, the arcade version actually does have the Bear Hug in the move list data, however the move is not quite complete and is not assigned any input. It is fully functional when hacked into the game, however the sound effects are wrong.
In Tekken 6, the animation for the attack was changed to be a single hug, and its animation was sped up. Ogre also received a new animation for the move when he returned in the console release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
