Burning Fist (万聖竜王拳 Bansei Ryūōken?, lit. "10,000 Holy Dragon Kings Fist") is an Unblockable Attack used by Paul Phoenix since Tekken 2.
In execution and power, it is similar to Marshall and Forest Law's unblockable Charge Power Punch as well as Wang Jinrei's Dragon Power Punch. However, unlike Charge Power Punch, Burning Fist cannot be cancelled once initiated. Also, despite being unblockable, the move can be reversed as well as punch parried. If this move hits a standing opponent, they will be sent rolling across the screen, much like a counter-hit Phoenix Smasher.
This move was demonstrated in the ending of the first game where Paul utilizes the move with his left hand. But from Tekken 2 onward and just like his in-game appearance, Paul uses his right hand. In Marshall Law's character ending in Tekken 7, Paul also uses this move against Feng Wei, but Feng survives the move despite its powerful damage.
In Tekken 8, Burning Fist's properties and input has been simplified, where it now act as a fully charged version of Half-Step Phoenix Smasher.
Paul also uses the Burning Fist as part of his Super Art in Street Fighter X Tekken.
