Demon Kicker is a move used by Heihachi Mishima since Tekken Tag Tournament.

Description[]

During the animation, Heihachi performs a quick Left Right Combo and then knocks the opponent away with a quick right full roundhouse kick, which is normally his standing 4.

Usage[]

While the Demon Kicker can be used as a poke, it sees little use due to it not providing any significant damage or advantage with the last hit not even being guaranteed as a natural combo, and also lacks the guard stun Heihachi's regular 4 kick has. The string's only value is in its quick startup, as it comes from a jab. As Heihachi has several stronger and more flexible tools such as the Electric Wind Godfist, Right Splits Kick, and Demon Uppercut, the Demon Kicker's already low value has continued to diminish as the series has progressed.

Trivia[]

  • The roundhouse was originally identical to Nina Williams' Bermuda Triangle rather than the generic Mishima 4 kick. The inputs for both moves are also identical.
  • Kazuya Mishima performs a mirror image of the same combo in the arcade opening of the original Tekken.
