Electric Wind Hook Fist, also known as Fastest Right Roundhouse Punch (最速右回し突き Saisoku Migi Mawashi-tsuki) in Japan, is a move used by Jin Kazama after having "unlearned" Mishima Style Fighting Karate and learned traditional Karate in its place, which happened shortly after Tekken 3. Like the Electric Wind Godfist, the move was unlisted since its introduction until Tekken 7. In Tekken 8, when Heat has been activated, the move's just frame requirement is removed and in all cases the move is capable of causing chip damage. This requirement is also removed whenever a move that has a crouch dash transition is used, indicated by a red glow in Jin's eye during the motion.
The move is an enhanced version of the Wind Hook Fist, and gains a more enhanced version as Jin's Rage Drive.
Description[]
The move has an identical command input as Electric Wind Godfist. Similarly to Rising Uppercut, this move also has a just-frame variation. If performed correctly, the air around Jin's torso will spark with red electricity and he will scream "DAH!". The sparks stay in place while Jin moves forward, meaning that the sparks will trail behind him when the move is complete. If the opponent blocks the move, their body will be covered by the currents of red electricity, but they will take no damage from it. It gives strong frame advantage, however, and offers more advantageous positioning than the standard Wind Hook Fist.
In Tekken 6 and onward, during the execution of the move the sounds of electricity would be heard when the red lightning is unleashed from his Right Roundhouse Punch.
Until Tekken 7 the move's properties on hit were identical to the Wind Hook Fist's but starting with Tekken 7 the Electric variant became a natural launcher (causing an immediate Screw).
In Tekken 8, it still acts as a natural launcher, but instead causes an immediate Tornado. In Story Mode, it is also incorporated into Jin's Rage Art when he cannot use his Devil powers.
In Street Fighter X Tekken, the move appears similar to his Demon's Paw. Jin would execute a powerful version of his Demon's Paw by landing a powerful straight thrust while embedded with red electricity to knock his opponent down, instead of using a right hook fist in the main games.
In Tekken (Mobile), this move became one of his Strike Waza Cards in all of his appearances.
