Flea is a stance used by Yoshimitsu since Tekken 3. During the stance, touching the sword with most low attacks or some mids will damage the opponent. Yoshimitsu cannot enter this stance during Mutou no Kiwami and attempting to use its command will only cause him to enter Indian Stance instead. Despite the opponent needing to make contact with the sword for the move to deal damage, it is considered a mid by the game rather than an unblockable, although the sword slash is still heard. By all intents and purposes however, it is unblockable as it requires the opponent to be attacking, juggled or lying on the ground.
As of Tekken 4, canceling Flea back to regular stance is now done by pressing back rather than down, as pressing down performs Flea Digger. Additionally, if Yoshimitsu remains idle in the Flea stance after the opponent has been damaged by the sword, the sword will lose collision and cannot cause additional damage unless Yoshimitsu performs a move or cancels the Flea stance.
