Force (金剛体 Kongōtai?, lit. "Vajra Body"), also known as Lightning Force in most Tekken communities, is a defensive move used by Jin Kazama in Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament.
While a standalone move in Tekken Tag Tournament, if partnered with Heihachi, Jin could become temporarily imbued with Omen power and become able to perform special follow-up moves.
From Tekken 4 onwards as Jin practiced traditional karate, this was replaced by Power Stance, which in Japanese is the parent version of Force.
Description[]
Jin steps forward into a high horse stance with both feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointing inwards, and both fists pushed upwards into a double inside block.
Jin's fists during this stance are charged with the signature electric ki of the Mishima blood, and though the move does not do any damage, it renders Jin temporarily invulnerable and staggers the opponent if they are within range.
Trivia[]
- The Japanese name of this move, which can also translate literally as "Diamond/Adamantine Body" or "Rigid Body", is a reference to Jin's body becoming invulnerable while he is performing the move.
