Forest Law is the son of Marshall Law, with whom he shares a strong physical resemblance. Forest has black hair and brown eyes and, much like his father, resembles the great martial artist and actor Bruce Lee, as they serve as the Tekken series' tribute to the late icon.

Tekken[]

In Tekken, Forest made a cameo appearance in Yoshimitsu's ending as a child. In this ending, he's wearing a similar outfit to his Player 2 outfit in Tekken 3. The only difference is that his pants are yellow, resembling his father's Tekken 7 Player 1 outfit, and tied with a black sash, and he wears black wristbands.

Tekken 3[]

Forest made his only playable main-series appearance in this game, where he was one of five characters (alongside Jin, Xiaoyu, Anna and Gun Jack) to have three selectable outfits.

Player 1 outfit:
Forest wears martial arts attire of a white long sleeve tangzhuang jacket with navy blue cuffs, black linings and matching buttons, navy blue pants, matching shoes, and white socks.

In his ending in Tekken 3, he initially wears this outfit while being scolded by his father Marshall before changing to his Player 2 outfit.

  • This outfit is a tribute to an outfit worn by Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon.
  • This outfit later adapts to his father's Player 2 outfit in Tekken 4 up until Tekken (Mobile).

Player 2 outfit:
Forest now wears a white tank top and purple pants with red cuffs and a matching red sash around his waist, purple shoes and white socks. He also wears red wristbands that have black edges.

He wears this in his ending while being trained by Paul and his father Marshall while practicing the Frogman move at his father's dojo.

Player 3 outfit:
Forest's third outfit is based on the iconic yellow jumpsuit worn by Bruce Lee in the movie Game of Death. Forest's jumpsuit is sleeveless, yellow, skin-tight and has black edging around the arm and neck holes, as well as black stripes down the inner and outer legs. The jumpsuit also has a black crest of a double headed eagle emblazoned in the back. Forest wears matching wristbands and black and yellow sneakers with this outfit.

  • This outfit is unlocked by completing the game with both Law and Paul.
  • The sneakers Forest wears are similar to company Onitsuka Tiger's Mexico 66 style sneakers, which Bruce Lee was rumored to have worn on the set of Game of Death. It is not confirmed that these are the exact brand of shoes that Lee wore, but Uma Thurman would wear these shoes for the Bruce Lee homage outfit she wore in Kill Bill: Vol. 1.
  • A similar yellow jumpsuit would become a staple for Forest's father, Marshall Law, in subsequent games.

Tekken Tag Tournament[]

Player 1 outfit:
Forest wears his primary outfit in Tekken 3 but is in different shades of green.

Player 2 outfit:
Very similar to his father's primary outfit in Tekken 2, Forest wears black pants with red cuffs and a red sash, black shoes and white socks. He also wears red wristbands with black edges.

This outfit later adapts to his father's updated primary outfit in Tekken 5 onward.

Player 3 outfit:
Forest's third outfit is identical to his Tekken 3 Player 1 outfit, with the addition of red cuffs on his pants.

Player 4 outfit:
Forest's fourth outfit is identical to his Tekken 3 Player 2 outfit, except his pants and shoes are recolored from purple to navy blue.

Player 5 outfit:
(See Tekken 3 Player 3 outfit)

Tekken Tag Tournament 2[]

Forest's fighting stance is now the same as his father's current stance.

Player 1 outfit:
(See Tekken 3 Player 1 outfit)

Player 2 outfit:
A palette swap of his Player 1 outfit, Forest now wears a martial arts outfit of a gray tangzhuang jacket with red linings, cuffs and buttons and a red collar with a black band around it leading down the center, red pants with yellow cuffs, and black shoes with white socks.

Preset C outfit:
Forest's Preset C outfit is the Wii U exclusive Sheik outfit (shared with Violet, King, Leo Kliesen, and Miharu Hirano). The outfit is predominantly a skintight body suit of cobalt blue and indigo, with white accents. The body suit merges into a boot-like pattern with an implied tabi-boot divide at the toe. There are loose white wraps on the wrists and fingers, binding an armored guard that extends over the back of the hands. A torn white tabard is worn over the chest, with the red Crest of the Sheikah emblazoned over a sky blue field. There is a high white crinkled collar to the costume, and also a violet wrapped skull cap.

  • Swimsuit: Forest's swimsuit DLC is, like the majority of male characters, a fundoshi with matching tabi, available in a choice of three colors (black, white or red). He also has available a pair of swimming trunks.
