Front Kick, called Stopping (ストッピング Sutoppingu) in Japan and previously known as High Kick, was first introduced in Tekken 3 as part of Bryan Fury's moveset.
Aside from being the starter for Bryan's 10-hit combos, Front Kick starts the following strings:
- High Kick to Rush (TK3 onwards)
- Run for Cover (TK3 onwards)
- Front Kick to Knee (TK3 onwards)
- Front Kick to Double Hammer (TK5 onwards)
From Tekken 5 onwards, Bryan can transition to his Slither Step by inputting f.
When to use[]
By itself, Front Kick is just a basic high range kick with no properties, but its quick transition to Slither Step makes it a perfect starter for his wall carry tools in Slither Step during a combo.
