A Heat Smash is a special type of move introduced in Tekken 8, and acts as the successor to Rage Drive. While a Heat Smash can be used at any point during Heat, it will also deplete the Heat gauge upon use (completely in normal gameplay and a third during Story Mode). All Heat Smashes will trigger either a Wall-related stage effect or a Floor-related stage effect. Additionally, a single Heat Smash will also trigger a Hard Wall Break or a Hard Floor Break.
All Heat Smashes are performed by pressing 2+3 when Heat is active (the same button combination that performs a Heat Burst). However certain Smashes require further input if they are done from something other than neutral stance or if they have a variation.
