High Pounce, called Corpse Splitter (骸割り Mukuro Wari?) in Japan, is a move used by Kazuya Mishima and Heihachi Mishima in the first Tekken game. Kazuya and Heihachi only have the move in the original Tekken, although the ground pounce variation remained until Tekken 2.

In Tekken and Tekken 2, it is also Kazuya, Heihachi, Baek Doo San, Devil, and Angel's ground pounce. The input is U+2 when the opponent is down, and can also be performed from a back-turned position. Baek is the only non-Mishima fighter to have this move. A different pounce occurs if U+2 is performed against a standing opponent, and only deals 18 damage even in Tekken 2.

Jin Kazama inherited the move in Tekken 3, as well as introducing u+2+4 and u/b+2+4 variations, but lost it in Tekken 4 when he changed from Mishima Style Fighting Karate to Traditional Karate. In Tekken 5, Devil Jin regained the move as part of Jin's old style reintroduction. Jin's version has a bug where it can be performed from a back-turned position without Jin turning around.

Description[]

The move consists of the character jumping forward high in the air powered by electricity and deals a heavy blow to the enemy, knocking them down. The sparking effect does not occur prior to Tekken Tag Tournament.

Alternate inputs cause the character to jump straight down instead of forward and hit an approaching opponent or jump back.
