Howard Estate is a DLC stage in Tekken 7: Fated Retribution and the console version of Tekken 7. It is the home stage of the DLC guest character Geese Howard.

Description[]

Located nearby the mountains in Japan instead of at Geese Tower in the United States, its aesthetic mimics a Japanese dojo and garden as Howard, despite being of American heritage, finds Japanese culture fascinating.

The fight begins inside a room decorated with several Japanese adornments along with a mural painted onto a wooden wall. If an opponent is slammed into this wall, it will break through to a room covered with tatami floors and another mural. Slam an opponent into this room and it will take the fighters to another such room. Break through the wall here and the fight will move to the balcony and if the balcony break is triggered, the fighters will fall into Geese's Japanese garden.

Background Music[]

The BGM is titled "Soy Sauce for Geese", taken directly from Fatal Fury Special. The second round onward uses a remix of the same theme.

Trivia[]

  • In original SNK-related games (including in full crossover games like Capcom vs. SNK 1), most of Geese’s stages (particularly in Geese Tower) are located in North America. However in Tekken 7, this is the first game for Geese to have a stage located in Japan.
  • This stage was for a time erroneously listed as having the Floor Break gimmick in the Season 2 version of Stage Select.
  • This stage is the only stage in Tekken 7 that has multiple successive Wall Breaks and Balcony Break.
    • Many characters' extreme combos to successively break all three Wall Breaks and Balcony Break can be performed on this stage due to its design.
  • This stage previously has the most number of stage gimmicks of any stage in the series with four, beaten by Tekken 8's stages.
