"Jack" is the name given to the series of military robots developed throughout the Tekken series. While there have been numerous versions of Jack robots, they all follow the same general style of large, hulking figures dressed in military-style clothing with an iconic Mohawk hairstyle.
Tekken[]
Jack debuted in the original Tekken, where he had two military-style outfits.
Player 1 outfit:
Jack wears green camouflage pants fastened with a yellow belt, a green tank top and black boots. On his hands, Jack wears a pair of black gloves coated in metal studs.
Player 2 outfit:
Similar to his Player 1 outfit, but the green is replaced with khaki.
Tekken 2[]
Having been retired after the first King of Iron Fist Tournament, Jack was replaced in Tekken 2 by the newer "Jack-2" model. Jack-2 sported a more realistically-proportioned body and one new outfit.
Player 1 outfit:
An update of his Tekken outfits, Jack wears green camouflage pants fastened with a black belt, a black tank top and black boots. He still wears black gloves, but the studs are replaced with a single red triangle decoration.
Player 2 outfit:
Jack now wears a grayish-green colored exoskeleton covered in metallic studs and matching boots. While wearing this outfit, his gloves are replaced with layered steel-effect hand wraps.
Tekken 3[]
Jack-2 was destroyed by Doctor Abel after the second tournament, after which he was replaced, fifteen years later, by a new model fitted with a pivot gun named "Gun Jack", into which Jane placed Jack-2's AI. This new model had a more rustic appearance and two new outfits.
Player 1 outfit:
Gun Jack wears a more detailed exoskeleton, with silver upper arms and green lower arms, decorated with red triangles outlined in yellow, black torso and thighs, green legs and silver boots. His head is more robotic looking, with the back of his head being metal-plated and his mohawk also being made of metal.
Player 2 outfit:
Gun Jack wears a similar exoskeleton, this one colored in black on his torso, thighs, wrists and head, silver on his lower legs and black and silver on his upper arms and hands. This outfit is fastened with gold-colored bolts.
Player 3 outfit: (See Tekken 2 Jack-2 Player 1 outfit)
Gun Jack is one of five characters (the others being Jin, Xiaoyu, Law and Anna) to have a third outfit; this outfit could be considered the "classic" Jack outfit, consisting of green camouflage pants, a gray tank top, black boots and black gloves decorated with a red triangle, further evident that this is Jack-2.
- This outfit is unlocked by playing as Gun Jack 10 times.
Tekken Tag Tournament[]
Tekken Tag Tournament features three Jack robots, Prototype Jack and two main-line Jacks, Jack-2 and Gun Jack.
Jack-2[]
Player 1 outfit:
Jack-2 wears an update of his Tekken 2 Player 1 outfit, which also served as Gun Jack's Player 3 outfit, made up of gray camouflage pants, a dark green tank top and black combat boots. He wears the same black gloves with red triangle decorations.
Player 2 outfit:
An update of his Tekken 2 Player 2 outfit, the exoskeleton is recolored black and is covered by white studs. He also gains a pair of shin pads, which are fastened by red straps.
Gun Jack[]
Player 1 outfit:
An update of his previous outfits, Gun Jack's exoskeleton is recolored black and yellow, while his arms, hands and feet are colored silver. His face is now recolored black.
Player 2 outfit:
Gun Jack now wears a silvery-blue bodysuit, while his arms and legs have silver coatings with concertinaed joints. He also has a silver collar and a pack fasted to his back by yellow straps. His face is also recolored blue.

Tekken 5/Dark Resurrection[]
While there was no playable Jack robot in Tekken 4, a Jack-4 was built and appears in flashback in the Tekken 5 intro. The next playable Jack was Jack-5, built by Jane as an updated Jack-4.
Player 1 outfit:
Jack-5 wears an updated version of his classic outfit, consisting of dark green camouflage pants, a light green tank top and green and black gloves with metal studs. The "skin" on this model is sectionalized, making him appear less human. The Dark Resurrection variant of this outfit sees the tank top recolored black and his camouflage pants recolored yellow.
Player 2 outfit:
Jack-5 now wears a black exoskeleton with large shoulder pads and matching collar and large metallic boots. While wearing this outfit, the "skin" on Jack-5's arms become a more beigey-brown, less human-looking color. The Dark Resurrection variant of this outfit sees the exoskeleton recolored red and the "skin" on his arms, as well as his boots, appear black in color. The word "JACK5" is written on his outer thighs.
Tekken 6/Bloodline Rebellion[]
Tekken 6 introduces another updated model, Jack-6.
Player 1 outfit:
Same as his classic outfit, but the camouflage pants and vest are a lighter shade of green, his boots are now brown and his gloves are recolored silver and green.
Player 2 outfit:
Same as his classic exoskeleton suit, but the "skin" on his arms becomes olive green and he also wears matching olive green boots. The word "JACK-6" is now written on his outer thighs, though the PSP version of the game still has "JACK5".
- In his ending, Jack-6 decides to remodel himself with various pieces of machinery and equipment. When he is discovered by Jane, his appearance closely resembles the Player 1 outfit of Prototype Jack in Tekken.
Street Fighter X Tekken[]
Jack makes an appearance in the non-canon Street Fighter X Tekken in the form of a new model, "Jack-X".
Player 1 outfit:
The same as his Tekken 6 Player 1 outfit, except his vest appears to be made of metal and is sectionalized in the same way as his skin.
Swap Costume:
Jack-X's swap costume is based on E. Honda's outfit, and he wears a blue and white striped yukata, folded down at the waist so that he fights bare-chested, silver geta sandals and gray gloves. He also wears his hair in a chonmage style and wears kumadori style face paint matching E. Honda's. On his back is a large fan that has じゃっく・x (Jack-X) written on one side.
Alternate Costume:
Jack-X's alternate outfit sees him appear as a giant toy robot. He wears a green suit decorated with red and yellow stripes and patterns, black boots with red tips and white soles and black gloves with yellow, red-tipped rockets attached to them. His head and limbs are rectangular, much like a toy, and his eyes glow orange.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2[]
Jack-6 appears in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 alongside his prototype model, Prototype Jack.
Player 1 outfit:
(See Tekken 6 Player 1 outfit)
Player 2 outfit:
A variation of his classic outfit, Jack-6 wears tan camouflage pants, a green vest, gray boots with tan tops and pale green and silver metal gloves.
- Like all male characters (with the exception of Lee, Wang, Bob and Ganryu), Jack-6's swimsuit DLC sees him wearing a fundoshi in one of three default colors (black, white or red) and matching tabi boots.
Tekken 7/Fated Retribution[]
Tekken 7 sees the arrival of a new Jack, Jack-7, an updated, stronger Jack created in response to the creation of another biological weapon, Gigas.
Player 1 outfit:
Another update of his classic outfit, Jack-7 wears tan camouflage pants, a black armored vest, brown combat boots with black soles and the green and silver metallic gloves of his previous outfit. For the first time in the series, we also see a change to his hairstyle, with his signature Mohawk being recolored red.
- Like the majority of male characters, Jack-7's swimsuit DLC consists of a fundoshi and matching arm wrapping.
Aside from his Player 1 and Player 2 outfits, Jack-7 has 7 preset outfits that can be chosen or made via the customization screen, and a gold metallic outfit that is unlocked only by purchasing Tekken 7's Season Pass 1 DLC.
Tekken 8[]
Player 1 outfit:
Jack-8's Tekken 8 design is comparatively more mechanical than his previous main appearances. He has steel-gray metal plating around his shoulders, arms, trapezius, and pectorals, shaped around the muscles and mimicking the organic form these muscle groups would have. The same metal plating forms a visor around his eyes with a single, horizontal red light at the center, as well as forming a guard around his chin and lower jaw. Below the gray metal plating is indigo colored plating around his midsection, also in the shape of abdominal muscles. Both the gray and the indigo armor have lines of red lights inlaid within. Around his chest, Jack has a bandolier holding gold cartridges which is connected to a metal pack near the center of his back. On his right shoulder there is another metal pack with flexible metal piping connecting it to the upper portion of his right pectoral. Underneath where this pipe connects are letters reading "восемь", translating to "eight" in English.

Player 4 outfit:
Like all returning characters, Jack's fourth outfit is his Player 1 outfit from Tekken 7.
