Many of Jin's outfits feature flame designs on his right pant leg, and he always wears gloves or gauntlets in his Player 1 outfits. Jin has spiky black hair similar to his father's with thick eyebrows and a full fringe similar to his mother's. He also has a devil mark on his left shoulder where he was branded by Devil. As a teenager in the anime, Tekken: Bloodline, Jin is depicted wearing a white short sleeved hoodie with a black tank top, gray trousers with folded hems, and red flats with white soles. Jin would continue to wear hoodies as his secondary outfits in both Tekken 4 and Tekken 5, and as his main outfit in Tekken 7 and Tekken 8.

Jin is shirtless and wears black trousers with a red, orange and yellow flame design on the right pant leg and red and black footpads. Jin wears a yellow jacket with rolled-up sleeves and with the words "Jin" - "Japan" merged together to form a kanji-inspired logo on the back. He wears dark blue trousers with red stripes down the sides, black boots with knee protectors and uses the red Mishima style gloves with the triangle pattern studs, although these only cover the hand, being almost identical to Kazuya's gloves.
Player 3 outfit:
Jin wears a Mishima Polytechnic High School uniform. It consists a dark blue v-neck blazer with the sleeves rolled up and the school's logo emblazoned on the left breast. He wears his gloves from his Player 2 outfit along with checkered green pants and brown leather shoes. This outfit is unlocked by playing as Jin 50 times.

His pants are colored white on the left side and black with white flames on the right and are fastened with a dark blue and white karate belt. He wears white and red footpads and white and red spiral patterned gauntlets with a spiral design on the back. The spiral could represent the Kazama family as Jun wears spiral designs on her Tekken Tag Tournament Player 3 outfit. In Kazuya's ending, after Jin is defeated by him, the soles of Jin's footpads are black.
During Stage 8 of his story mode, while fighting his father and grandfather at Hon-Maru, he loses the top of his karate gi. This topless version of the outfit is later seen in his Tekken 5 prologue and in the Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection console opening.
Player 2 outfit:
He wears a white and blue hoodie and dark blue baggy knee zipper pants with golden flame embroidery on the back with a black tank top for an undershirt and red and white sneakers. Tekken 5/Dark Resurrection[]
Player 1 outfit:
Jin wears an alternate version of his Player 1 outfit in Tekken 4. He no longer wears the top half of his gi and his black karate pants have a large white golden outlined flame on the right pant leg and has three smaller white flames on the left. His white spiral patterned gauntlets have minor changes with red and blue parts on the underside.
Jin wears this outfit in the last part of his prologue and in both Heihachi's and his own ending.
In Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection the flame on his pants and the color of his gauntlets change from white to red.
Player 2 outfit:
(See Tekken 4 Player 2 outfit)
It's a modified version of the Tekken 4 Player 2 outfit. It is violet/blue on the hoodie instead of white/blue. The hood and the sleeves now have a laminated gold flame design on it. Lastly, the hoodie has a silver zipper and silver piping on the pockets. Jin's hood will fall off if he falls or is knocked to the ground.
In Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection his jacket and pants are recolored plum though the flames remain gold and retains the red gauntlets from his Player 1 outfit.
Player 3 outfit:
Jin wears a white unzipped jacket with black furry arms and blue flames designs, a white shirt tied around his waist and white pants with red zippers down the front and a thick blue line down the back. He also wears a pair of red and white gloves with metallic studs on the back and black sneakers with white soles.

Tekken 6/Bloodline Rebellion[]
Player 1 outfit:
An updated version of his Player 1 outfit in Tekken 3. The red flame on his pants is now larger with an orange and yellow tint. He wears an indigo and yellow karate belt and red and black footpads. His gauntlets now extend down his entire forearm and come to a set of spikes at the end. Rather than the spiral pattern his gloves revert back to the Mishima-style steel studs laid in a triangle.
Jin wears this outfit in both his two-part ending, Lee's ending and as Devil Jin in Devil Jin's ending.
Player 2 outfit:
Jin wears his Mishima Zaibatsu CEO business suit - a black leather trenchcoat with red lining with the Zaibatsu insignia on the collar over a gray long-sleeve button-up shirt with black lightning designs, purplish-black pants, a black belt and black shoes.
- Jin wears this outfit in the arcade and console openings of Tekken 6 as well as in both Miguel and Xiaoyu's endings. This outfit was first seen in his Tekken 5 ending although his pants were brown and his shoes were dark gray.
Player 3 outfit:
Jin wears a long white coat with a cape, white decorative boots, gloves, silver pauldrons, a gold chain leading from his collar and a long sash emblazoned with his devil mark hanging from his shoulder. Various parts of the costume have red highlights.
- This outfit was designed by manga artists CLAMP.
In the game's E3 2006 extended trailer, Jin wears an outfit with black pants with a red flame design, a brown belt, and short boots in addition to a black tank top and red and black gauntlets.
Jin has four more customizable outfits unlocked either via Scenario Campaign or purchased with in-game fight money.
- Emperor: Jin wears large shoulder pads available in white, gold, or black with the devil mark (the current logo of the Mishima Zaibatsu) emblazoned on both the left and right shoulder pad in gold regardless of color over a cuirass, gauntlets, cuisses, and greaves similar to those worn by Tekken Force and, more specifically, Lars in Tekken 6, in a variety of different color options. The cuirass has a high, armored neckline over a leather collar with a cravat wrapped around Jin's neck. At the front is an emblem with gold trim that is red and black and has the devil mark at the center. The sides are held together with multiple black, leather straps. At the back is a spine-like design covered by Jin's mantle; a black cape in three sections. The greaves are designed similarly to Jin's Player 1 greaves, with gold studs on the back rather than silver. The cuisses have black leather straps at the hips and one around each inner thigh keeping the armor at the outer side of each leg, large kneepads, and a belt with a triangular belt buckle.
- Biker: Jin wears a leather jacket and leather pants in a choice of several colors. Each color option has the devil mark on the outer side of each pant leg, continuing up to the front of the jacket. The sleeves have a jagged design at the outer sides of each with an arrow created by the negative space. There is also a jagged design at the back sides of the pants leading up to the back of the jacket. With this, Jin wears leather riding shoes with ridged broguing and black soles.
- Hoodie and Zippered Pants
- School: In this outfit, Jin wears a long gakuran with a flame pattern at the bottom, a high collar with a white lining inside, gold buttons starting just below the collar as well as five gold buttons at the hem, and a red lining on the interior below the collar. With this, he wears black trousers with red and orange flame patterning around the legs at the hem up to the knee with a brown belt and black leather loafers. Jin is shirtless underneath the jacket.

During his battle against his father and his grandfather, Jin dons his red gauntlets beneath his long sleeves. When his grandfather Heihachi grapples him with his Jumping Powerbomb during the brawl between him and his father, Kazuya, he is shown to be wearing a black belt with a rectangular silver buckle around his waist, which was concealed by his loose button-up shirt.
His other outfit is a summer version of his school uniform in Mishima Polytechnic; a white short-sleeved button-up shirt and his green plaid pants and brown shoes from his third outfit in Tekken 3. This appearance was seen in a photo with him and Shin Kamiya at Shin's apartment.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2[]

Tekken 7/Fated Retribution[]

He wears a black and gray leather hoodie with black and red flame designs on the hood, dark gray leather pants with a blue flame design with red outlines along the right leg, a red belt with gold studs and a gold buckle, and red boots with gold designs and gold buttons. His red gauntlets extend to his shoulders and are embellished with gold accents and a gold devil mark on the left shoulder. There is a golden triangular pattern on the back of his gauntlets and a black, two-headed emblem with one angel wing and one devil wing on the back of his hoodie beneath the flame design.
- During the game's ending Jin wears his Player 1 outfit but replaces his black leather hoodie with a black zip-up motorcycle jacket. He wears red and black biker gloves with metallic studs in place of his gauntlets.
Player 2 outfit:
Jin's Player 2 outfit is a palette swap of his primary outfit, replacing the black portions of the pants and jacket with white as well as making his boots white with black buttons. His gauntlets maintain the golden accents while their primary color changes from red to black, and the flames on his pants and jacket are now gold with black outlines.
- In Tekken 7's Story Mode, Jin wears a tattered version of Devil Jin's new Player 1 outfit after he is apprehended by the UN. He wears a tattered, brown, hooded cloak with this outfit while he is walking through the desert. He briefly wears a topless version of this outfit while at the Violet Systems medical facility as it is being infiltrated by Nina and the Tekken Force. This outfit is also seen in Hwoarang's character ending after Jin reverts back to his human state. His horns, wings, tattoos, and demonic gauntlets disappear leaving Jin barehanded. In the Season 3 DLC pass, this outfit is now known as the Vagabond outfit, whereas before it was released as a playable outfit, it was known as the Desert outfit and was only encountered in offline Treasure Battle. - Preset 8: Jin's Preset 8 outfit is the metallic silver version of his Preset 3 outfit. His school jacket is now silver and the flame designs are black with gold trim. The arm wraps and gloves are black as well, and his school pants become silver with a gold belt and gold buttons. His black boots now have gold accents at the heel and sides.

The gauntlets are now attached to long black gloves with red lines on the underside reaching to the middle of his upper arm. These gloves are tied with straps at the top that are red with white trim, just as his belt is. This outfit was first seen in the official trailer for Tekken 8.
Default 4 outfit:
As with all returning characters from Tekken 7, Jin's fourth outfit is his Tekken 7 Player 1 outfit.
