Bone Splinter Kick, originally called Jumping Mid Kick prior to Tekken 8, is a move performed by Heihachi Mishima since the PlayStation version of the first Tekken game. Starting with Tekken Tag Tournament, it causes the opponent to stagger when blocked. In the early games, it caused the opponent to roll across the screen on a counter hit similar to a Heavy Power Punch, however the property was removed in Tekken Tag Tournament. In Tekken 5, a hit will cause the opponent to spin in the air. It can also be performed during a Demon Hop. The arcade version of Tekken does not have this move.
Description[]
Done from the Wind God Step, Heihachi hops up slightly then performs a spinning sidekick to the opponent's midsection. In Tekken 8 this causes chip damage on a blocking opponent.
If d/f is held as 3 is pressed, Heihachi will instead perform the Jumping Low Kick.
