Kigan Island is a stage in Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign. Kigan Island is a hideout of the Manji Clan, accessed through an underground passage that leads to a Noh Theater.
The stage begins in a corridor with an earth floor, and wooden walls with painted red pillars. Several red doors can be seen off the corridor, and incense burns in alcoves along the way. The player falls through two similar looking floors, indicating that the area is a large underground compound on multiple levels. The place is lit by burning torches and has an enormous fortress-like door that lift upward to allow passage through. This leads the player to an underground cobbled bridge with water flowing beneath it. The player falls down two more levels of a tower before another lifting door leads them through a passage to a noh theater.
The noh theater is a wooden room built onto rocks at the base of a cliff. The room has a balcony that opens onto a raging gray sea. Its centerpiece is a raised shrine, with a gleaming boddhisatva in it that resembles Yoshimitsu. Two lamps and two suits of samurai armor are either side of the shrine and open bridges and platforms can be seen nearby. Along one of the fences bordering the room are fletched arrows, attesting to the hideout's military uses by the Manji Clan. A number of samurai banners with mons on them can be seen sticking out of the nearby rocks. On either side of the shrine are neighboring rooms, in which a noh performance is being held. In each theater stage, an actor in robes can be seen moving slowly, and behind them is a row of four musicians (Hayashi-kata) in formal attire. Masked warriors dressed in red samurai armor stand guard about the perimeter of the room.
Trophy/achievement: Eastern Explorer.
Stage Description[]
Yoshimitsu is fought here, and will be unlocked after completing the stage. This stage has two events where the floor breaks, and falling crates provide another hazard so the player should be careful. Several waves of minions will attack the player, so the player should remain alert at all times. The boss stage takes place at the Tekken 6 stage, Noh Theater.
Alisa's Journal: "After taking the hidden passageway encoded on the map, we came upon a place filled with strangely dressed people. They insist their attire is common as part of the Japanese way. I am not clear of the meaning, but I suppose "Japanese" is a synonym for "strange"."
