Kuma II is a large brown grizzly bear who first appeared in Tekken 3, replacing his father, who died of old age sometime after the second King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Tekken 3[]

Tekken 3 also introduced the character Panda, who shares the same slot as Kuma and acts as Kuma's Player 2 outfit.

Player 1 outfit:
Kuma II looks almost identical to Kuma I, but wears a red bandanna around his neck and a black bell bracelet on his left arm.

Tekken Tag Tournament[]

Player 1 outfit:
Kuma gains a polar bear appearance and wears blue accessories. The bells on his bracelet are replaced with spikes.

Player 2 outfit:
Kuma retains his brown fur from Tekken 3. His bracelet is now colored red to match his bandana.

Tekken 4[]

Player 1 outfit:
Kuma wears a red T-shirt with a black skull design on the back, a black paw design on the front, and red and white sneakers with red designs and red and gray soles.

Tekken 5/Dark Resurrection[]

Player 1 outfit:
Kuma no longer wears clothes or accessories in Tekken 5.

  • In Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Kuma's fur is white.
  • Kuma wears a red bow tie and white formal sleeves in Panda's ending.

Tekken 6/Bloodline Rebellion[]

Player 1 outfit:

  • Kuma can be customized to wear Heihachi's Player 2 outfit, casual clothes like shirts, jeans and sneakers and a ballerina costume. He can also to be customized to have a scar on his face.

Street Fighter X Tekken[]

Player 1 outfit:

Kuma wears his outfit from Tekken 3 but without the black bell bracelet.

Swap Costume:
Kuma's Swap Costume is based on R. Mika from Street Fighter. He wears a blue and white wrestling suit with heart designs, white leggings and a blue wrestling mask with yellow ribbons hanging off it.

Alternate Costume:
His Alternate Costume is a teddy bear suit with pink blush on its cheeks and a red ribbon around his neck. He carries a doll version of Panda on his left arm, with "Tokyo Xiaoyu Land" written on the plush.

  • Kuma turns back into a cub in his ending after he opens Pandora's box.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2[]

Player 1 outfit:

Kuma's black bell bracelet is now on his left leg and the red bandanna on his neck now has white designs.

Player 2 outfit:
Kuma's bandana and leg bracelet are recolored blue while keeping his brown fur.

Tekken 7/Fated Retribution[]

Player 1 outfit:
Kuma wears a new Player 1 outfit: a customized suit of Tekken Force armor. He wears a black chest plate, black wristbands, gray and black military pants with a nylon utility belt, a black helmet with a flashlight on the side and eyes that glow red.

Kuma appears in this outfit in his character episode but without the black helmet.

Player 2 outfit:

Tekken 8[]

Player 1 outfit:
Kuma makes his appearance in Tekken 8 wearing his master, Heihachi's, dark gray gi top with torn sleeves. Kuma also wears the same white wraps around his wrists and ankles, and wears Heihachi's red belt as a headband.

Player 2 outfit:
Kuma's Player 2 outfit is a pallete swap of his main outfit and like in the previous games, his fur is changed to white.

Default 3 outfit:
Kuma wears a pair of blue overalls and a straw hat with a red band.

Default 4 outfit:

As with all returning characters, Kuma II's Tekken 7 Player 1 outfit returns as a preset.
