Left Stance, also referred to as Left Foot Forward (LFF) is the default stance of Hwoarang which he has had since his debut in Tekken 3.

Because this is his default stance, Hwoarang automatically enters this stance by:

  • Blocking or receiving damage
  • Sidestepping or Sidewalking
  • Holding Forward or Backward
  • Running
  • Crouching
  • Crouch Dashing
  • Jumping
  • Performing a throw (All Throw animations on whiff end in Left Stance)
  • Ki Charging (TK6 onwards except 3D: Prime Edition)
  • Using a Heat Engager or a Heat Dash (TK8)

If Hwoarang attempts to use an attack without a command while he is in Right Stance, he will use an attack from Left Stance instead. (e.g: Inputting d/b+3+4 in Right Stance will yield Dynamite Heel because Right Stance does not have an attack for the input).
