Miguel Caballero Rojo is a character who first appeared in Tekken 6. Miguel is a muscular, tanned-complexion brawler, who has brown curly hair, a light unshaven beard, thick brown eyebrows and light brown eyes. Because his outfit resembles a typical bullfighter's suit, he has received the nickname of "Miguel el Matador" by Spanish-speaking fans [1]. His outfits tend to expose a large portion of his chest.

Tekken 6/Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion[]

Player 1 outfit:
His Player 1 outfit is an outfit that resembles a Matador (bullfighter) costume. It consists of a white dress shirt with ruffles along the front and shoulders, embroidered along the sleeves and cuffs in gold, and with two gold buttons. With this, Miguel wears black, skintight pants with an embroidered gold pattern down its sides ending in two tassels on each leg, and a wide red sash with the same embroidered pattern on its sides and gold tassels at the front and back. Miguel also wears a pair of black knee-high boots with black laces and golden patterns on its sides with black heel guards, and a pair of black fingerless gloves. His dress shirt is partially unbuttoned, thus revealing a red scarf around his neck, a silver necklace, and his chest. In Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion his shirt's sleeves are rolled up to his elbows and around each sleeve is a black leather belt with a gold buckle. Also, in this version, Miguel has an undone tie hanging around his neck over his shirt, and a single silver bracelet on his left arm.

In the console opening and his ending in Tekken 6, the sleeves of his white dress shirt are not rolled up and Miguel is not wearing gloves. Before the bombardment during his sister's wedding, he wears purple sports sunglasses while watching his sister and his parents from afar.

Player 2 outfit:
His Player 2 outfit consists of a long, brown, fur coat over an unbuttoned white dress shirt, and striped, high-waisted dark gray pants with a brown leather belt and gold buckle. With this outfit, Miguel wears a pair of brown dress shoes and black, fingerless gloves. The outfit is accessorized with a long silver necklace.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 []

In Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Miguel gains a new primary outfit.

Player 1 outfit:
Miguel's new outfit consists of an open orange button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and black belts with orange trim tied just above each cuff. On the left side of the shirt over Miguel's chest is an emblem with a crown, bird, and bull, reading "La Fuerza" underneath, and on the back is a graphic of a red and black bull with yellow and black paint splatter designs along with the word "Duero". Miguel also wears dark green faded jeans with gold rhinestones along the back pockets, worn low enough to show the red waistband of his boxers which read "LUCHADOR" in yellow, a black belt with a large, oval, silver belt buckle that has the design of a bull's head, black leather fingerless gloves, and black boots with an orange trim and black soles. He also wears multiple necklaces, one of which is wrapped around his right arm and hand.

Player 2 outfit:
Miguel's Player 2 outfit is a palette swap of his Player 1 outfit. His shirt is now green rather than red, and his jeans are recolored to dark blue. The waistband of his boxers is now blue as well.

Preset B outfit:
Miguel receives a bonus outfit, designed by the artist Minagawa Ryouji.  It features a Spanish themed uniform consisting of a puffy-sleeved shirt with black cuffs that have a white frill trim at the top, red and white trim at the bottom, and silver metal star-shaped emblems with red and yellow wings on each. Over this shirt, Miguel wears a black vest with a red and yellow flame design down the center of the chest, red and white trim around the shoulders, and a strap with a gold buckle at the back. The pants of this outfit are leather, red on the inner leg and red along the outer leg, with silver metal studs down the front and back. Miguel wears a large black belt with metal star emblems along the length of it as well as silver metal studs along the trim, and at the front of the belt is a matching black, metal studded holster with a revolver that has a black handle and red and yellow flame designs along the sides and base of said handle. On the back of this belt is a line of bullets. Miguel's boots in this outfit are yellow with red panels at each side, brown soles, and the same metal emblem at the top with two red and yellow wings. This outfit is accessorized by a cape buttoned around Miguel's neck that is black with red trim at the back as well as a design of a red bird with yellow feathers, and a black sombrero with white trim, a white lace hatband, and a metal emblem with red and white wings at the front.

Preset C Outfit:
Miguel's Preset C outfit consists of a gray short sleeved graphic shirt with a notch neckline that has the design of a black winged guitar on the front under the words "hardest inc." and darker gray flames surrounding it. On the back of the shirt are matching dark gray wings. With this outfit, Miguel wears black, fingerless gloves and black leather pants which also read "hardest inc." in white on the seat. Miguel wears worn, black leather boots with this outfit.

Preset D outfit:
Miguel's Preset C outfit is the Wii U exclusive Luigi outfit. It consists of blue denim overalls with large gold buttons as the fasteners over a long sleeved green turtleneck, as well as a green cap with a white circle at the front containing a green "L", oversized brown shoes, oversized white gloves, an oversized skin-colored nose, and a large brown mustache.

Preset E outfit:
Miguel's Preset D outfit is his Snoop Lion collaboration outfit. It consists of a white tracksuit with a high neck red collar, red lines down the sleeves, red trim along the zipper, red pockets, and red lines down the outer side of the pant legs. On the left of the chest is an emblem with the Rastafari flag colors containing a gold, stylized lion wearing a crown with matching colors to the emblem and the words "Snoop Lion" above it. On the back of the tracksuit jacket is the same emblem but enlarged to cover the upper back. In this outfit, Miguel wears pale red jogging shoes with blue accents, white laces, and blue soles.

Tekken Revolution[]

Miguel retains his default Tekken Tag 2 outfit in this game. Via DLC, he also has additional outfits, including a pirate themed costume and a shirtless jeans look with tattoos.

Tekken 7: Fated Retribution[]

Miguel is given two new outfits in Tekken 7: Fated Retribution.

Player 1 outfit:
Miguel wears short, formal, burgundy leather winter coat with a fur lining and gold skulls on the upper part of each sleeve paired with black designs down to the cuff and two black buttons on the front. The cuff of each sleeve also has a brown belt with a gold buckle, and a larger, matching brown belt is around the waist of the coat. Underneath the coat he wears a button-up shirt with all but the bottom button undone, gray pinstriped formal pants with a white belt loosely done around his waist that has gold plates and a decorative gold buckle with a teal gem in the center, and calf-length black boots laced up only to his ankle, allowing the tongue of the right boot to fall forward. He also wears dark brown leather gloves with red palms and gold accessories along with a single brass knuckle on his right hand. This outfit is accessorized with two long silver necklaces similar to those that he wore in both Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, a pair of shades in his left breast pocket, a watch on his left wrist, and a gold bracelet on his right wrist. The shorter necklace has a silver pendant at the end, while the other has a blue gem pendant.

Player 2 outfit:
Miguel's Player 2 outfit is a palette swap of his Player 1 outfit. His coat is now green with a beige fur lining and is worn over a deep red shirt. His gloves and the belts on his jacket are now light brown, with the buckles, metal accessories on each glove, skulls on each arm, bracelet, and single brass knuckle now being silver. His pants are white with gray stripes and his belt is now light brown. His boots are now brown rather than black, and have white laces.

  • In his character ending, Miguel uses his brass knuckles as a weapon to beat Jin to a pulp. The latter survives after Miguel spares him despite the weapon's capability to cause concussion or even death.
  • Brass knuckles are, in actuality, illegal to own in Spain and many other countries across Europe.

Aside from his Player 1 and Player 2 outfits, Miguel has 6 preset outfits that can be chosen or made via the customization screen, and a gold metallic outfit that is unlocked only by purchasing Tekken 7's Season Pass 1 DLC.

  • Preset 1: Miguel's Preset 1 outfit consists of a brown leather jacket worn with the sleeves pulled partially up his forearm. He wears no shirt underneath but has a pale green leopard print scarf around his neck and down his chest. Around his neck, Miguel wears a black collar with dark gold chains attached. Miguel wears gray, black, and white capris in this preset, with sewn on black patches of white graphic designs along the front. His belt is gray with a plain silver buckle. Miguel's boots are black with heavy gray soles, gold laces, gold designs along the vamps, and a gold plate at the front. This outfit is also accessorized with black, fingerless leather gloves that have a strap around each of his wrists.
  • Preset 2: Miguel's Preset 2 outfit is an orange, yellow, and tan camouflage print jacket with a high collar, drawstrings, and an emblem on the right of the chest. The jacket has two large pockets with tan trim at each side above the hip, and shoulder panels and a hem of a matching tan color.
