Mishima Estate is a stage in Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign mode and also a playable stage in Street Fighter X Tekken. It is a large traditional Japanese estate and the private residence of the Mishima Clan.
The estate consists of a number of large buildings all with traditional Japanese gabled rooves, and richly decorated interiors with painted fusuma walls. The buildings resemble a Japanese castle or fortress, and are in a fortified area surrounded by walls. Within these walls there is a Japanese rock garden with large ovaloid Zen stones in the center. A bridge over the rock garden leads to a large open training ground lit by burning braziers set on a cliff bordered by scenic waterfalls. The estate itself also consists of enormous tracts of land with gardens, forests, and mountains, on which can be found the Mishima family temple, Hon-Maru, the Mishima Dojo, and likely also the clifftop where Kazuya Mishima was thrown off by Heihachi Mishima.
Background[]
The ancestral home of the Mishimas, the Mishima Estate is likely where Jinpachi Mishima taught Mishima Style Fighting Karate to Heihachi and Kazumi. The dojo on the grounds was where Kazumi attacked Heihachi in her devil form, and the Precipice of Fate is likely also situated on these grounds and marks the location where Heihachi threw his young son, Kazuya, off a cliff, resulting in the awakening of Kazuya's devil side. The estate was the home where Kazuya and Lee Chaolan were raised by Heihachi and also trained in Mishima Karate. Wang Jinrei also lived somewhere in the extensive Mishima gardens as a recluse.[1] Jin Kazama came to the estate doors begging Heihachi to train him at age fifteen, and also lived here for four years.
By the time of Tekken 6, the estate was considered to be abandoned, but was being lived in by Heihachi, along with a small cohort of ex-Tekken Force soldiers who had remained loyal to him after Jin took over the Mishima Zaibatsu. Lars Alexandersson came here in search of Heihachi and confronted him in the training grounds after informing him he was his son. He then tried to shoot his father, though Heihachi caught the bullet between his teeth.
Stage Description[]
Tekken 6 Scenario Campaign[]
"The residence of the former head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Heihachi Mishima. Although deserted for some time, some people have recently been spotted going in and out of the estate."
In the Scenario Campaign, it acts as the private estate and hideaway of Heihachi Mishima, where he retreated after Jin Kazama took control of the Mishima Zaibatsu. Heihachi acts as the stage's boss and is guarded by agents wearing suits and sunglasses, only referred to as "Secret Service". This is also the stage where Lars Alexandersson regains memories about his past and about his relation to Heihachi Mishima.
Alisa's Journal: "Heihachi Mishima is, in fact, Lars' father. The reunion was unlike the idealistic images conveyed in popular media, but the trauma of fighting against his own father reinstated Lars' memory. We now have both the Mishima Zaibatsu and the G Corporation to face, extending our time for the mission".
Trophy/achievement: It's All Coming Back to Me.

If the fight reaches its final round, the combatants will fight on the estate's grounds. Multiple enemies from the Scenario Campaign also make appearances in the background. The interior of the building seen in the last phase is also very reminiscent of the Hon-Maru stage from Tekken 4.

Trivia[]
General:
- This stage also appeared in Tekken 3 and Tekken 4's Tekken Force Mode. Heihachi is also the final boss.
- In Tekken Force Mode it is referred to as the Mishima Fortress.
- 'Mishima Estate' sometimes just refers to the buildings themselves, whilst 'Mishima Compound' is used to refer to all the surrounding areas as well.
- Alisa calls this stage the "residence of Heihachi", and that it is now believed to be abandoned, suggesting that this is was Heihachi's residence before the events of Tekken 6 and is the ancestral home of the Mishimas.
- Lei Wulong clarifies, that, though Heihachi previously used a different base of operations 'back in the day', the Mishima Estate has always been his home.[2]
- This stage can be selected in the PlayStation Portable version of Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion in the Ad-hoc Multiplayer.
- Lars is the only Tekken 6 fighter in this game to not be featured as a boss, a fighting partner later in stages (i.e. Lei and Zafina), or being rescued in some way (i.e. Julia). However, in the Tekken 6 Co-op version of this stage, he is fought as a boss after Heihachi is first.
- This stage has three paths at the starting area that can be opened by an enemy if the player does something specific with the two wooden crates at the start in order to proceed:
- If the player destroys one of the crates and leaves the other one fixed for a long time, the right path will be opened.
- If the player destroys both crates right away, the middle path will be opened.
- If the player does not destroy any of the crates, the left path will be opened.
- The BGM on all three parts of the stage are remixes of different themes of Heihachi's from the Tekken series; on the first part, it is a remix of his Tekken 2 theme; on the second, a remix of his Tekken 3 arcade theme; and on the last part, a combined remix of both his Tekken 3 PlayStation version theme and the Tekken 3 end credits theme.
- Kunimitsu makes a cameo appearance in the background of this stage.
- Mishima Estate is one of two stages (other being Urban War Zone) taken from Tekken 6 or the Tekken series overall.
- This is where M. Bison and Juri Han's rival battle against Heihachi and Kuma takes place.
