Muso Palm Strike is an attack used by Heihachi Mishima in Tekken 8. It replaces Double Palm Strike.

Description[]

Heihachi performs a deep body blow with his left fist while moving forward then jabs his opponent in the face with a palm from the same hand. It is a natural combo.

While the attack was given a new name, the essence of the move is largely unchanged from Double Palm Strike, with the only noteworthy difference being the reanimation of the first hit.

Trivia[]

  • The name for this attack is more in line with the original Japanese name of Double Palm Strike, 無双掌破 (Musō Shōha lit. "Unmatched Palm Blast"?). This name also more aligns with the nature of the attack visually, as the first hit of both Double Palm Strike and Muso Palm Strike is a closed fist as opposed to an open-hand strike (thus rendering the "Double" in Double Palm Strike inaccurate, as Heihachi only uses a single palm strike in that string).
