Project X Zone (プロジェクト クロスゾーン Purojekuto Kurosu Zōn; pronounced "Cross Zone") is a tactical role-playing game for the Nintendo 3DS developed by Banpresto and Monolith Soft and published by Bandai Namco Games. The game is a follow up to the PlayStation 2's Japan-only Namco X Capcom and feature characters from Bandai Namco, Capcom and now SEGA.
The game is part of Namco's X series and was released on October 11, 2012 in Japan, June 25, 2013 in North America, July 5, 2013 in Europe and in Australia on July 4, 2013.
The sequel, Project X Zone 2, was released in Japan in November 2015, and worldwide in February 2016.
Gameplay[]
The stage takes place in grid-based locations from the game's crossover titles. Each friendly unit is made up of two characters (referred as "Pair Unit"), though a third character (or "Solo Unit") can be added for once-per-battle assistance. Unlike Namco x Capcom, units can move freely within their range on the field map, without penalty for accessing treasure chests or destructible objects prior to attacking.
The battle system is called "Cross Active Battle System", where in pressing the A button in combination with the Circle Pad performs up to five basic attack combos. Additional gameplay elements include Support Attack, which allows the player to call in a nearby ally for assistance, and Cross Hit, which freezes the target in place during simultaneous attacks from multiple units. Also, the player can trigger Critical Hits by connecting their next attack just before the target hits the ground after the first. As the player's units deal damage, the player's Cross Power (XP) gauge fills up and can be used for special attacks and defensive moves on the map. Damage done via Cross Hits can fill this gauge up to 150%.
Project X Zone has a total of 15 save game slots included in the game, which can be used for recording a save game file during intermissions with a quick save file and a soft reset command.

Xiaoyu argues that its not, and she notices that something is wrong with Jin. He tells her that he came here to find out what's happening to him. Suddenly some kind of demons appear in the fountain next to them. Xiaoyu gets terrified and asks Jin what those are, to which Jin says that they're demons that came after Jin. Jin's genes start to react to the demons.
Out of nowhere, something else appears, to what Xiaoyu refers as "silver skin freak", which is in fact Dural form the Virtua Fighter universe. Jin doesn't feel good and Xiaoyu starts to worry. Later, Akira and Pai from the Virtua Fighter universe appear and ask if XIaoyu and Jin are okay. They introduce themselves and Jin tells them to get Xiaoyu out of this place. Akira and Pai decide to help Jin and XIaoyu to fight monsters and Dural.
After a while, they meet Han Juri from Street Fighter universe who also came looking for Dural. Then, Ken and Ryu come and ask Juri about what's happening. They have a conversation. Xiaoyu asks Jin who those guys are and Jin says they're the ones who get involved in things too easily, just like him. They greet each other. Suddenly, something happens and everyone, except Pai and Akira disappear.
Chapter 16:
Jin and Xiaoyu later find themselves in a strange place full with demons and ghosts, and they can't find their way back. They try to find a way out of this place, but fail to do so.
After few tries and battles with demons, they run into a boat and recognize their friends who went to search for them. They see that Heihachi is on the boat as well, but Xiaoyu doesn't recognize him at first, because he got his young looks and black hair back.
Later, they run into Alisa, who was reprogrammed and wasn't obeying Jin's orders any more. They defeat her and she gets reprogrammed again, and now Jin tells her to join and help them out.
They have a long journey before finding their way back to Earth, however they finally manage to do it.
