Stage f17

Seaside Resort is a stage in Tekken 8. It is the home stage of Lidia Sobieska.

Description[]

As the name suggests, the stage is a beach, with the fighting area enclosed by wood and rope fencing, palm trees, large stones, and a raised deck where multiple spectators in suits and swimwear watch the fight. Wooden poles hold up strings of lights that go over the fighting area and into the decks. The deck also has four umbrellas over the seating areas. Beyond the stage fencing there are multiple canoes, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas. Multiple sailboats can be seen on the water, and in the distance are multiple large rock formations.

The first two rounds on this stage take place during the daytime, then will progress to sunset for the following round, and will change to the nighttime from the fifth round onwards, with each version of the stage having slight differences in lighting. During the evening, string lights can be seen hung over the deck and along the edges of umbrellas on the stage. During the nighttime, these same string lights will be lit alongside flaming torches, the lights hung over the fighting area, and spotlights. At night, there will also be fireworks going off in the sky.

Trivia[]

  • Seaside Resort was first revealed in Lidia's character trailer.[1]
  • Seaside Resort was added to Tekken 8 in the 1.06.00 patch on July 23, 2024.
  • This stage is similar to the second level of Island Paradise, both stages are fighting on sandy beaches, and both areas even use the same backdrop of canoes, with wooden and rope fencing, and both even change to the sunset time at match point.
  • The transition from day to sunset to night is similar to the stage transitions seen on Hammerhead, although on Seaside Resort the transition to sunset always happens on the third round regardless of which fighter initiated it, while the transition to nighttime will always happen on the fifth round, which is identical to Hammerhead's transition.
