Soul Thrust (心中突き Shinchūzuki?, lit. "Double Suicide Thrust") is a move used by Kazuya Mishima since Tekken Tag Tournament, replacing Uraken. From Tekken 5 to Tekken Tag Tournament 2, the attack had a built in punch parry. In Tekken 7, however, the parry was removed, and the attack became a Power Crush instead.
In Tekken 8, the move has Tornado properties.
Description[]
Kazuya shuffles forward with his leading-left hand raised a bit and then drawn back, performing a right-handed punch to the opponent's midsection, similar in fashion to Jin Kazama's Demon's Paw but with less range and a more upright-stance leaning subtly to the left.
In Tekken Tag Tournament, the Soul Thrust mainly stumbled the opponent backwards on hit, but from Tekken 4 onward it has a knockdown property instead.
The Soul Thrust is also incorporated as the second hit of both the Soul Annihilator and Devastator.
