Special Arts was a mechanic used exclusively in Tekken Revolution and served as the predecessor to the Power Crush introduced in Tekken 7. Special Arts were marked by a red star at the character select.
Each character has one attack where they will be invincible in its startup which is indicated by a red flash. All these attacks, however, have the same property of knocking the opponent to the end of the screen, where they will automatically recover. Additionally, a drawback was that many of these attacks were dangerously unsafe on block and could easily be launch-punished.

Trivia[]
- Of the Special Arts, Giga Jacker, Corpse Thrust, and Mist Flash were the only attacks that eventually became Power Crushes in Tekken 7. Jin's Corpse Thrust, however, would only become a Power Crush in Tekken 8
- Christie, Dragunov, and Lee's Special Arts were specifically introduced in Tekken Revolution, as of Tekken 7, only Mist Flash remains as the command for Christie's was given to Eddy's Rage Art while Dragunov lost his command completely.
- Hwoarang's Cheap Shot Snap Kick had its command changed specifically in this game due it being turned into a Special Art. This change would be reverted in Tekken 7.
