Starburst, abbreviated to STB, is a stance used by Claudio Serafino since his debut in Tekken 7. The stance can only be activated after landing certain attacks, or after using Claudio's Rage Drive. Prior to Season 2, certain moves were unavailable to use outside of Starburst. The Season 2 update granted Claudio weaker versions of previously Starburst-exclusive moves that deal less damage and have different properties.
This stance is exhausted after Starburst-enhanced moves are used, whether the hit is successful or is blocked by the opponent.
In Tekken 8, Claudio will continually maintain Starburst during Heat and will consume parts of his Heat gauge when performing Starburst-enhanced attacks.

- Starburst is an important element of Sirius-Style Exorcism Sorcery, the exorcism style used by the Archers of Sirius.
- Though it was not mentioned prior to Tekken 8, Claudio's Tekken 8 profile implies that Starburst is an ability specific to Claudio's bloodline, stating that Claudio was "[b]orn into the house of the purifying blue flame".
- Moves enhanced by Starburst typically cause the user's body to glow with blue flames. They have a common hit effect where white light is emitted when they hit an enemy.
