So Kunimitsu and her mom have been targeting the Yoshimitsu Blade for some time. But what people don't know is that the sword was crafted from ancient forge techniques of the original Manji Clan of Mt. Fuji. Those skills were passed on orally, and were lost with that clan's destruction. Unless you are a member of the original Manji clan, which is impossible as the original Yoshimitsu was all that was left, the sword cannot be replicated. So Kuni's great-grandfather would have done so in vain.
