Ttt2 netsu

Raven has taken enough damage that his tag teammate's health bar flashes red, granting them greater damage if they are now tagged out.

Like its prequel, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, also has Netsu Power allegiances. These character relationships (positive, neutral, or negative) have an impact on when a character will get enraged from seeing their partner getting hurt in battle.

This data has some relation to the special tag partners in the game, which allow for special team throws, special interludes, special pre-fight and win poses, and special Game Over screens.

Description[]

Rage allows for striking attacks to deal more significantly more damage for a set amount of time. When the active character's health is lowered to a certain point, the inactive character will become enraged. If the inactive character 'likes' the active one, a relatively small amount of damage done to the active character will cause them to become enraged (when their partner has between 44.44% and 47.65% health remaining). By contrast, if the inactive character 'hates' their tag partner, they will not become enraged until their partner has taken quite a lot of damage (when their partner has between 28.89% and 31.18% health remaining).

There is a scale of how much each character likes every other one which determines when they will become enraged. A character will either like (+1), be neutral (+0), dislike (-1), or hate (-2) their tag partner.[1]

Netsu Team Allegiance[]

This chart shows how much each fighter likes, dislikes, or hates for their selected tag partner. Neutral relationships (+0) have not been included.

Netsu data shows stats relevant to the game and should not be altered.

Trivia[]

  • The Netsu Power feature was first introduced in Tekken Tag Tournament.
  • The Netsu/Rage system in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 bears a similarity to the Rage system introduced in Tekken 6 and expanded on in Tekken 7.
  • Whilst the character 'likes' and 'dislikes' can give a hint as to which paired characters will have special tag partner interactions, the Netsu system is distinct and does not directly tell the player which character match-ups will result in other special tag interactions.
