Twin Pistons (双角 Sōkaku?, lit. "Twin Horn") is a move first used by Jin Kazama in Tekken 3, but was discarded in Tekken 4 for Twin Lancer. The move returned, however, when it was given to Devil Jin in Tekken 5 instead. Devil Jin later lost this move in Tekken 8 for Solo Piston to Bloody Glaive.
Usage[]
In its original incarnation, the move was primarily just a weaker version of Kazuya's variant, having only the while rising command, and the second hit only being guaranteed on Counter Hit. The last hit can be tag buffered in Tekken Tag Tournament.
In Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, the second hit's launch property was also removed, relegating the move's primary use to be as combo filler. Tekken 7 introduces a variation called the Twin Revival that does cause knockdown but is more risky to use. In Tekken 8's story mode, Jin regains access to this attack when he reverts back to his Mishima-style Karate.
