Survival of the Fittest: Devils Awaken is my fanmade spin-off of Tekken with the mechanics of it, but with a different plot line and characters. It’s kinda similar, so I’m branding it as “Tekken but in Mortal Kombat universe with Devil May Cry stuff.” Like a what-if Tekken happened with different characters (and demons) in a mortal Kombat styled world.
The basic plot line of game 1 (The Opening Epitaph from Story Mode!) is here:
Five millions years ago, humans and dragons were allies, bound together with a series of trades. Dragons were feral and needed care, while humans were weak and needed protection. One day, though, it all changed.
Demons came and invaded primeval human settlements, setting off a Great War. Before long, all dragons and demons were killed off and sealed into tombs.
But kingdoms built on the tombs and became corrupted, until the strongest of all Gods, The Titan, was killed by the creator of demons and master of chaos, ruler of the Deus Perditionis race, The Chaos, Tyranydarx.
However, The Titan was resurrected by the gods, and rebirthed into a French nobleman named Pierre.
Meanwhile, the weakest of all gods was slayed by the other gods, for training, but the power of The Titan was calling to him, and he was resurrected to an MMA master named Abel.
Abel and Pierre’s paths met, but something darker was happening.
Halfway across the multiverse, different tribes resided, and the gods blessed them with unstoppable will. One of them met Pierre and became the mysterious Centurius, who plotted to kill everybody with his evil organization that created zombies, Capsule Geo-Reawakening something-or-something.
Meanwhile, one of the empires that was created, Illusionary, was being ruled with an iron fist, by the emperor Dominicus XV, The Cruel. Dominicus killed Abel in his past life, but Abel was reawakened by CGR something. He became unstoppable with extra additions, but the evil side of him became Cain, a shady warrior of darkness.
Abel, as a child in his new life, left his home at a young age and was adopted by the mysterious karate master Hoshi, and trained, with the already grown-up Pierre, in the mystical arts.
Meanwhile, Pierre was forming a special squad for controlling to world, and Centurius had created a cult of followers.
When Pierre and Abel both remember their past lives, they set off a chain reaction, looking for revenge, while the demons escape from their tombs, mostly in Illusionary and the Seven Realms of Evil. This sets off a Great War.
