Vermilion Gates is a DLC stage in Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. It was released alongside DLC character Kunimitsu II as part of Season Pass 4.
Description[]
The fighters meet at sunset on the first level. The setting sun gives a warm color to the environment, based on shades of orange, purple and red, the same color as the clouds. The sky has a light pink color. It is possible to see Mount Fuji and the well-known Chureito Pagoda overlooking Fujiyoshida City. There are many cherry blossom trees in bloom and the famous red gates, hence the name of the stage. When the fight goes into match point, the sun goes down and the remainder of the fight takes place at night under the stars.
The stage has a second lower level when the Balcony Break is triggered. The lower level is an underground place and here too the fighters clash on a wooden platform. The lower level is darker than the upper one and there are fluorescent lights to illuminate it.

- Based on the appearance of the stage and the name of its background music, it is likely based off the Japanese shrines Fushimi Inari Taisha and Chureito Pagoda, which is dedicated to the spirits of Mount Fuji.
- Kunimitsu II's trailer takes place on this stage.[1]
- Kunimitsu II has a special intro animation that only occurs at this stage.
- The background music's title, Inari (稲荷), is the name of a Shinto harvest deity commonly associated with foxes.
