Warrior Instinct is a buff used by Heihachi Mishima since Tekken 8.
To enter Warrior Instinct, Heihachi must first accumulate three Ultimate Counts throughout the match by activating Heat. Upon a successful Heat Burst or Heat Engager, Heihachi automatically gains an Ultimate Count, and consequently requires at least three rounds with a Heat activation to enter Warrior Instinct. Additionally, Warrior Instinct can only be activated once per match.
Upon entering Warrior Instinct, the emblem below Heihachi's life bar will flare and he will gain the following buffs:
- Certain attacks will be enhanced in damage and safety.
- Enhanced attacks will all do chip damage
- Aerial Combos now decrease recoverable health. This property is indicated when the opponent's health flashes blue when hit.

Trivia[]
- The buff to Flash Punch Combo is a reference to property change given to Awakened Heihachi in Tekken 7. The change to Demon Basara gives it the same aerial property as his Rage Drive.
- The first hit of Spinning Demon is a reference to it not staggering its user prior to Tekken Tag Tournament, and Heihachi being able to bypass the stagger stun by inputting the next hit at the last possible frame in Tekken 4.
- The conversion of Muso Renken into a launcher is a reference to Heihachi's original Twin Pistons, which was an i13 launcher he had prior to Tekken 6 and regained as Awakened Heihachi in Tekken 7 and Unforgotten Echoes in Tekken 8.
- If a match requires only 1 round to win, then Heihachi will start with 2 Ultimate Counts. If a match requires 2 rounds, then Heihachi starts with 1 Ultimate Count.
