Zenith Rashomon is a move used by Heihachi Mishima in Tekken 8. It is a perfectly timed version of Rashomon.
Description[]
Heihachi spins clockwise and briefly winds up his right fist before executing a wide backfist that knocks his opponent far away. This is accomplished by holding and releasing the 2 button when Heihachi's fist flashes.
If the button is released before the flash Heihachi will perform the original version of Rashomon. If the button is held past the timing window then Heihachi will perform True Rashomon instead.
Usage[]
The attack has a reversal break property (it can negate the armor of a Power Crush attack), deals chip damage on block, and grants Heihachi health recovery on both hit and block.
There are two "levels" of the move, depending on how well-timed the button release is. If the button is released without true just frame timing Heihachi's fist will be followed by a trail of blue sparks. If the button is released with perfect just frame timing then the trail of sparks will be gold and Heihachi will let out a more forceful grunt. This version deals more damage on both hit and chip.
